When we tried Trident's frozen Panko Breaded Tilapia, we baked three tilapia pieces following the oven instructions on the box. It recommends baking the tilapia for 18-22 minutes -- since I've had problems with mushy frozen fish in the past, we went for a full 22 minutes, flipping the fish after the first 12 minutes.

The outer parts of the fish were nice and flaky, however, the thicker parts close to the center of the fish still came out mushy. It had a mild salty and savory, bready taste. The breading was very crunchy and did taste like panko breading. The fish itself was fairly plain, so the breading added flavor to the fish, however, the breading also made it a little too filling for me.

My boyfriend and I noticed Costco started carrying these frozen kimchi & pork dumplings from Silk Road Foods. We've had other frozen Korean dumplings from Costco, so we decided to try these, too. The directions on the bag say they can be steamed, fried, or microwaved, so we prepared it the easiest way: three dumplings in the microwave for three minutes, covered with a damp paper towel. The bag also states these are "large" dumplings, but they aren't huge or anything: maybe about 2 inches x 2 inches (or maybe slightly larger).

The kimchi & pork dumplings were a little spicy, but I didn't really taste much of a kimchi flavor. It tasted more just like a spicy pork dumpling than a kimchi-pork dumpling. It sort of has a mix of savory Korean flavors, but it mostly just tasted salty to me. They were OK overall, but they weren't great and I wouldn't get these again.

We bought some of Maya Kaimal's Lamb Vindaloo from Costco since we enjoyed the coconut chicken curry Costco had last year. The lamb vindaloo was very easy to prepare following the microwave instructions. We ate it with a side of rice.

The lamb vindaloo had sort of a slightly spicy and savory coconut curry taste with a little bit of tanginess. The label on the box showed the spiciness-level being at medium, which seemed about right. You could definitely taste the spice, but it wasn't super spicy. The sauce wasn't watery or too thick. The lamb was pretty good and went well with the sauce. Some pieces were a little dry, but they weren't overly dry or anything. The lamb vindaloo also had potatoes, which were a little on the crunchy / al dente side. The potatoes cubes were pretty small (each was about the size of a pea). I would have preferred bigger potato chunks, like the ones pictured on the box, but they still went well with the lamb.

Overall, it was very tasty and made for a good meal for me and my boyfriend. We also had leftovers the following day, and it tasted even better than the day before.

Update (Nov. 2016): We bought some of this lamb vindaloo again, and this time it had larger potato chunks! Unfortunately, it also had more "fatty" lamb pieces, so it wasn't really a good trade-off. However, the taste was still good. :)
