Box of Bertolli Italian Sausage & Meatball Rigatoni
Bertolli Italian Sausage & Meatball Rigatoni

I tried some of this Bertolli Italian Sausage & Meatball Rigatoni frozen pasta and cooked it using the microwave instructions on the box.

The rigatoni pasta actually turned out to be pretty good. The sauce was a cheesy tomato sauce and it wasn't too sweet or salty. The cheese also thickened up the sauce a little bit.

There only seemed to be three meatballs and three pieces of sausage in the package, but they tasted fine. The meatballs tasted like typical meatballs. The sausage tasted very similar to the meatballs, except they had a sausage texture.

It was good for a single frozen pasta meal. Not only did it taste good, but it was also pretty filling.

Bag of Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli from Trader Joe's
Trader Giotto's Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli from Trader Joe's

A package of this ricotta and spinach ravioli from Trader Joe's was kept in the freezer (since the package says to keep it frozen), and when I opened the package I noticed there was a lot of ice inside.

When I cooked it, I followed the microwave instructions and heated it up for a total of 7 minutes.

The tomato sauce just tasted like an average tomato and garlic sauce, but it was a little bit watery (probably due to that ice). The inside of the ravioli had a neutral taste (not a strong cheese or spinach taste), which was OK with me.

Although it was a little bit watery, it was still good enough that I was able to eat the whole thing.

Posada Steak & Cheese Burritos
Plate of Posada Steak & Cheese Burritos

I bought a box of the Posada steak & cheese burritos to try from Costco. I liked that the burritos had steak and cheese and no filler beans (since I don't like beans).

I followed the microwave directions on the back and microwaved one burrito for 90 seconds.

The overall taste of the burrito was pretty savory with a faint, underlying tomato taste. The green chilies are fairly prominent, and the shredded steak pieces are fairly respectable for a frozen burrito.

The burrito was very similar to the El Monterey Steak and Cheese burritos, and it tasted good overall.
