REVIEW – Silk Road Foods: Kimchi & Pork Dumplings from Costco (Frozen)
My boyfriend and I noticed Costco started carrying these frozen kimchi & pork dumplings from Silk Road Foods. We've had other frozen Korean dumplings from Costco, so we decided to try these, too. The directions on the bag say they can be steamed, fried, or microwaved, so we prepared it the easiest way: three dumplings in the microwave for three minutes, covered with a damp paper towel. The bag also states these are "large" dumplings, but they aren't huge or anything: maybe about 2 inches x 2 inches (or maybe slightly larger).
The kimchi & pork dumplings were a little spicy, but I didn't really taste much of a kimchi flavor. It tasted more just like a spicy pork dumpling than a kimchi-pork dumpling. It sort of has a mix of savory Korean flavors, but it mostly just tasted salty to me. They were OK overall, but they weren't great and I wouldn't get these again.

These silk road dumplings were amazing. I’ve had dumplings on many occasions and kimchi on many occasions,but this brand was awesome. Very sad news costco no longer will be carrying these. I would have stocked up if I knew.
We found them too! Cooked from frozen so I cooked it in a covered pan w garlic n scallions on low for 10 min, took top off and turned up the heat. Flip, flip, delicious and crisp, way better made fresh as opposed to delivery. Agreed that there wasnt enough kimchi, but other than that the flavor was on point and was quite savory. went perfect w homeade gyoza sauce. Made too many and they were a great snack the next day. Devastated they werent in Costco this week so Im online looking up the recipe!!!
We absolutely love the Kimchi Pork Dumplings, from Costco Unfortunately we were told the Costco will NOT going to carry them any longer! It was about a month ago that we tasted the sample, at Costco, and bought 2 bags. I am looking for a place that carries the dumplings Our family rates it a ’10’.
