Cooked Gourmet Dining Chicken Stir Fry

Gourmet Dining Chicken Stir Fry Packets I was looking for a frozen stir fry with noodles to cook, and I found this one at Fry's (Kroger).

The package came in three smaller packages of the noodles + vegetables, Teriyaki sauce, and chicken.

The instructions on the back of the package said to cook the stir fry for 7 minutes on a covered skillet, but I ended up cooking it for 2 minutes longer because I didn't have a cover and kept thinking the chicken might not be cooked enough... so it might have ended up overcooked a little bit.

The finished product still tasted pretty good for a frozen stir fry. The Teriyaki sauce was lightly sweetened and went perfectly with the vegetables and chicken, and the taste wasn't overbearing (or too minimal). The chicken was good and wasn't dry, but the vegetables ended up a little bit mushy (perhaps because I cooked it for longer than 7 minutes).

I started buying these a few weeks ago and have enjoyed them. Could use a little more meat in them. But for the price you can not complain about that. Where else are you getting a complete dinner for 6 bucks

I have purchased this product many times. Have liked the convenience of how quickly it cooks and has always been a good quantity for us. I frequently add a little more chicken and the taste has been good. When I made it tonight we could barely eat it, it was so spicy hot. Had to make another meal for one family member. Sadly I won’t take the chance to purchase again.

The sauce on the new stir fry was too hot to eat. I loved the old style, but I was disappointed with your product now. I actually love hot foods and peppers, but this was ridiculously hot like a carolina reaper.

I have been purchasing your gourmet dinning for almost two years and recommend to friends but have been disappointed since they changes putting packet of sauce in them. I found them now to be very dry even though cubes are supposed to take place of packet. Don’t know if I will continue to buying. I found one cheesy Mac and chicken with packet that I bought all the others had no packets. Hope you go back to packets.

I really liked the OLD Gourmet Dining Chicken Stir Fry. I was able to cut up the larger veggies and pieces of chicken. The new packaging does not allow this with the sauce and veggies frozen together and then cooked together. Also the sauce had a strong taste which I did not like. Guess I won’t be buying tour products any more.
