REVIEW – Upper Crust Bakery: Double Chocolate Chip Cake from Fry’s
We were looking for a chocolate cake at Fry's (Kroger) and the Upper Crust Bakery's double chocolate chip cake sounded good and looked like a nice, small chocolate cake.
Unfortunately, the cake didn't taste as good as it looked. It had a weird, excessive vinegar taste that swamped out all the chocolate. I'm not sure if something was wrong with the cake or if it was actually supposed to taste that way. I also don't know why the cake is called chocolate chip because there were no chocolate chips on top or inside the cake.
It tasted so disgusting that both my boyfriend and I were unable to eat more than two bites of the cake (we each took second bites because we couldn't believe the first bite tasted so bad).Food: Upper Crust Bakery Double Chocolate Chip Chocolate Cake
